This is a static information website. It has no accounts, sighting forms, newsletter sign-ups, payment forms or location permission requests. We have not added analytics, advertising trackers or cookies, and the website does not store preferences on your device.

Normal web requests

Your browser requests pages and locally hosted images and styles to display the site. The server delivering those files can receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details and requested page. Hosting access logs and retention depend on the hosting service and its configuration; this website does not promise that no technical data is processed.

Wildlife programme information

This website does not receive sighting reports, reporter identities, wildlife coordinates, private notes, photos or device notification endpoints. The programme descriptions are public information, not a connection to programme databases.

Other services and the future shop

The Scarborough Tortoise Watch link takes you to a separate programme service. Review its privacy information before using it; this website does not receive the data you provide there. No store link is available yet. Merchandise is coming soon; this website currently takes no orders or payments.
